So finally canceled my modern apartment in Chiang Mai (and fed up with that terrible city anyway) and choose to move out of town to an quite primitive wooden house in the middle of a nice quiet &amp; authentic village. Surrounded by green and nature sounds from birds of all kinds, geckos, tree frogs, crickets and all-night chirping beetles (no MP3!). Sometimes an elephant passes the house...
